Online, I found another example of a painting by this artist which depicted a different mountain in Jasper National Park, Mt. Edith Cavell; that painting was signed "J. D. McIntyre." AskART lists another Jasper National Park scene (also Mt. Edith Cavell) under the New Zealand artist, Peter McIntyre, but this was only signed "McIntyre" without the initials; this is believed to be an erroneous listing. Condition The painting is unframed.
