Description: This is a spectacular, large scrapbook with mostly Montana content spanning the years 1924-1927. It starts with a couple's wedding, the first things they purchased together, lists of gifts, etc. and continues through various trips they took as a couple. Everything in the scrapbook is nicely identified. Cities in Montana that I saw noted are Butte, Glendive, Sidney, Scoby, Poplar, Bozeman, Livingston, Anaconda, Manhattan, Gardiner, Big Timber, Red Lodge, Richey, Great Falls and Sweet Grass. The wife, who assembled the album, put some interesting things inside. Such as a penny, which was 'the only money Mac had when we were married,' a sack of rice from their wedding, a kennel club ticket, bridge tallies, holiday cards, pullman passenger check, theatre tickets, business cards, programs, checks, receipts, maps, covers, clippings, photos, etc. There are photos from a trip that they took through California as well as their honeymoon through Seattle and Washington State. It is in generally clean condition overall. I saw one or two places where something seems to have been removed, but almost everything is there and intact. Closed, it measures about 11.5" x 7.25" and it is about 2.75" thick. I tried to picture everything but certainly could have missed some content. GUARANTEED ORIGINAL - NO REPRODUCTIONS!
