These CRAFTSMAN Series trees represent the latest in model tree technology. They are so real, in fact, that they are made from 95% real wood. They feature a real wooden trunk (not plastic or resin), crafted from Port Orford Cedar right here in Oregon, USA, and have realistic taper to a fine point, bark detail honed in, and a nontoxic dye. The green branches you see in the pictures are also made right here, from a combination of woody materials, held together with white "Elmers" glue and artist's matte medium. Other layers of detail are added including a highlight effect to the branches, as well as just a bit of a rusty color that hints toward a little bit of dead-needle effect (I call it the "bug spray"). Each tree has a hole drilled into the base and a pin glued in. On 7" trees, these are 1/2 toothpicks. On 9", 11" and 13" trees, they are sharpened stainless brads, also glued in. Packaging: Trees come packaged in a plain corrugated box with many strips of paper all around them. PREMIUM Series trees have dead branches and roots.
