Description: Mettlach 2942 .5L Stein "Saying" Villeroy & Boch Germany Antique Early 1900'sIn excellent overall condition. There is a hairline surface crack on the inside from top to bottom near the lid mount point. I'm not sure if anything was done to seal the crack. This crack does not go from inside to outside so its a surface crack. The stein still holds liquid and does not leak. There are marks on the inside bottom and inside of the lid. There are a few dust sized area's where the pain has flaked off, as well as some very small area's of lightening on the outside. The lid mount is fairly solid as well as the hinge.
