Mens Seiko 5Y23-8A69 Luxury Sunburst Blue Dial, New Battery On 9/23/2024

Description: Hello everyone, the Seiko 5Y23-8A69 watch is causing quite a stir, which is very funny to me because people did not know how well made these watches were when they were new, and also people never though that they would withstand the test of time, but they have. I was collecting them waaaay back then because I was working on them and was extremely impressed by the quality of these watches. A lot of fellow collectors that I know only considered this watch to be a cheap knockoff of a very famous and expensive Swiss watch (RLX) , and nothing more. My colleagues considered these watches to be junk, and laughed at me for collecting them. Most of them only collect watches and have never serviced, or repaired one. The joke is on them now!!!! . (Sorry, I just had to get that in there, because I got the last laugh). The watch with the sunburst blue dial is especially in very high demand. On the evening of 9/23/2024, I grabbed this watch from my collection and completely disassembled, cleaned, and serviced it using quality Seiko tools. This watch is absolutely stunning. The Seiko 5Y23 movement is my personal favorite Seiko movement. I absolutely love this Seiko movement for it's durability, longevity, and user friendliness. You can do so many things with this movement that you can't do with a lot of other movements that they made, such as interchanging the day and date wheel and replacing certain parts. I installed a new crystal, case back gasket, and a new battery. Then, I made it more water resistant by applying genuine Seiko TSF Silicon grease on the case back and crown stem gaskets.There are only minor scratches on the case and band. This watch is not only extremely beautiful, but it is also thoroughly serviced and ready to go. It should fit a wrist up to 7.25 inches. Thank You for your time.
