This brand and model responds well to upgraded coupling, shunt capacitors; the circuit board has mounting holes already to shunt the output capacitors; and resistors along with tube rolling if one desires to do so.Owners manual indicates that the input can accept MC or MM and has 2 outputs which are inverted RCA. The circuity exists for balanced outputs if one desires to do so. Please read below and understand.It is missing power supply and power cord for now. (I have 2 of these units but only this one for sale. I could work with buyer in making a power supply for this unit and have already begun to acquire parts to make a power supply such and connectors to connect to input. I still need to buy a transformer's and box to make etc. ).This may be able to be added to an example Melos MA333 Preamp/Power supply combo if it has the phono power supply out and cable. Any questions please ask I have 2 of these and know quite a bit about the peice. This was bought at an Estate sale appears to be totally stock from a non-smoker environment. This was run in my system for several years and sounded excellent with both High Output and Lo Output MC cartridges. I using the other one I have which I modified or essential replaced capacitors etc. I sounds heavenly to me every time.
