Description: This is a Mac 1900 that has been restored and was working great on speakers and headphones both channels. It is a complete late model 1900 which has the desirable 4 ohm switch. The two large multi caps are dummies, replaced by individual caps. The unit runs very cool, and I ran it for over an hour, after fixing the bias problems. The pre amp and power boards have been rebuilt and where working great as well as the new matched output transisters. Both AM and FM work as does the phono inputs, and tape inputs see the video. I did not test every switch on the front, and there are a lot, but I did test the important ones and they all worked as expected as did the Base and Treble controls. I have not heard any crackling or poping when switching channels, again listen to the video. The glass is like new 20 years ago from Mac and all the lights are LED and work. Both Meters work as does the illuminated pointer. I added a picture of my test jig used for the video and an image of all the components that were replaced in the restoration. Feel free to request more info or pictures. It is a very nice unit , I think I have resolved all the gremlins but it is a 60 year old very complex receiver. Most of the issues were bad board seatings or poor rca jack connections and the video below is the unit after board reseating and using better RCA cords. Continental US only shipping.
