If youre familiar with early French briar pipes, youll know that panel shapes are highly traditional in their approach to pipe design. This Mastro Geppetto channels some of that traditionalist impetus in its eight-paneled bowl, but simultaneously moves in a far more modern direction by pairing that bowl with a red and black swirl Lucite stem. Call it a contemporary twist on a true classic, as Mastro Geppetto pipes tend to be. This Mastro Geppetto is completely unsmoked, with an original bowl coating.
