Our belts are, by far, our number one seller at the shows we attend. We make our belts from solid strips of cowhide. There is NO lamination, NO stitching together of various layers, and NO mysterious fillers. If you have never owned a solid leather belt, you just don't know what you have been missing. There are so many poor quality belts available to you. And these poor quality belts come from all manner of sellers, from flea markets to department stores, from small shops to internet dealers. So many times these belts are actually labeled "leather." But that is such a misleading label. The "leather" may be leather scrap that has been shredded, mixed with glues, then rolled into sheets and cut into belt shapes. Or there may be a "thinner than paper" layer of leather attached to cardboard and backed with vinyl. These so called leather belts offer no strength or durability. The holes tear out quickly and the finish flakes away. Please don't be fooled by such items. Sometimes it is very difficult to see the difference. The manufacturers finish the edges in such a way that it is nearly impossible to see the layers. And you cannot tell by the label or price. We have seen very high dollar and very famous designer belts that were made of very poor materials. If you are unfortunate enough to spend your hard earned money on such a belt, it takes very little time to realize your mistake. The belt will show its true colors very quickly. In contrast, the purchase of a solid leather belt will instead pay for itself many, many times over. You will not be disappointed. Our selection of mason belts includes three different designs: 205SM Mason is a narrower belt, about 1 1/4" wide. 302SM Mason and 302 Past Master are wider, about 1 1/2" wide All of these belts are dyed in shades of brown and include a standard belt buckle and leather belt keeper. The buckle and keeper are attached by two heavy duty snaps, which allows you to change buckles if you so desire. We cut seven holes in each belt, with the center hole being the "size." For example, a 34 belt will measure 34" from the fold of the belt to the center hole. There will be 3 holes shorter than 34" and 3 holes longer than 34', allowing adjustment. SIZING - VERY IMPORTANT It is crucial that you take care in choosing your size. When we are on the road with our belts, we do custom sizing for each customer. Here on eBay, we can only go by your instructions. There are basically two ways for you to decide what size to order: 1st way) What is your pant's waist size? Order one size larger if you intend to wear the belt with the buckle we supply. If you are going to remove our buckle and replace with your own decorative "add-on" buckle, then you want to order the same size as your pants. This is because the decorative buckle will add the additional 2 to 3 inches necessary for a proper fit. EXAMPLE - If you wear 34 waist pants, order a 36 belt if you are going to use our buckle. Order a 34 belt if you are going to change the buckle. 2nd way) Try on a belt that you already have. (Please make sure the belt has a standard buckle, if that is what you will wear with your new belt. If you are going to wear a decorative "add-on" buckle with your new belt, you will need to have that buckle on the belt you use for measurement.) Take note of which hole you buckle the belt in. Now, remove the belt and measure from the fold to the hole you used. Order that size. You will find 2 drop down selection boxes at the top of this listing. The first lets you choose your size. We have 9 sizes from 30 waist to 46 waist. Each size is described by the center hole measurement and the total length of the belt. The second selection box is where you will tell us which design you would like. Again, we cannot caution you enough in choosing the size. Please DO NOT ESTIMATE or GUESS.
