Description: Marshall Field's Department Store Frango Mint Chocolates Candy Tin with Handle As of 1991, Marshall Field & Company Department Stores was owned by Dayton Hudson Corporation. Dayton Hudson Corporation was gone as of 2001. That makes this tin no older than 2001, or 22 years old! This reminds me of an old-time hat box. Round on top and flat on the bottom, this is ready for you to go anywhere. The front and back both read:Marshall Field'sFrangoMint Chocolates In white lettering on the base, it reads:Manufactured and Distributed by the Marshall Fields', Hudson's and Dayton's divisions of Dayton Hudson Corporation, Minneapolis, MN 55402 Tin made in China The tin measures about 6.25 inches long x 7.25 inches tall (base to handle) x 3 inches deep. Includes the original Marshall Fields green raffia paper inside! Frangos were created by Seattle, Washington's,Frederick & Nelson department store in 1918; the company and Frango trademarks were both acquired by Chicago's Marshall Field's department store, which introduced its recipe in 1929.
