I do purchase my items from Thrift Stores and Garage Sales so I can not always tell you if they have come from a non smoking home but I am a non smoker so I can usually detect that odor if it is present. I am a Pet Owner and I keep my items up and away from them but on occasion they may come in contact with your item.
