Description: Early Chesapeake Bay duck. Hunted over, small hairline to neck. Hairline to back. Discoloration and some marks to paint, paint crackling to tail. Loads of character. Attributed to Havre De Grace carver R Madison Mitchell. Was purchased several decades ago from Jim Pierces shop and has his shop stamp somewhat legible on the base. 1950’s-1960’s era. This is from a Kent County MD collection that we are in the process of offering for sale.
