Description: This wonderful, Limoges porcelain box is a 22KT gold framed painting of Paris' world famous Moulin Rouge nightclub, a popular night spot from the late 1800s, and the birthplace of the can-can dance. On top is its' red windmill, and on bottom is "CINEMA." One side has a "CAFE" and trees, and a large building is on the other side. The Eiffel Tower is the clasp. A three piece removable, porcelain puzzle of the same scene is inside. 2 puzzle pieces are missing. The box is 1.4" by 2.2" with a height of .7". Weight = 2.3oz On the bottom is: "Peint Main - Limoges France" with the artist's initials. Box checked with UV light magnification- no defects!
