While these volumes are not dated by the publisher, each volume has the year 1916 written inside. Condition: These are smaller (4 1/4" x 6 1/4") soft leather volumes. The pages have no tears. Volumes 1 & 2 have the remains of stains from liquid damage. There is writing (ink) on the inside front end page of each volume. The side and bottom page edging are soiled. The top edging is gilted (gold layer). The hard cover are worn with frayed edges. We attempt to judge the condition of the books on our site correctly.
