Description: Great playing copy of the original 1958 pressing of the classic Encores by Kogan LP on RCA LM-2250. One of the great violin LPs of the golden era. 1S/2S stampers on a shaded dog label pressing. The disc has quite a lot of scuffs and marks but nothing deep. I had it ultrasonically cleaned so it actually plays quite nicely. Sounds WAY better than it looks. I hear only a couple of moments where it ticks at all, mainly in the second track on side one, but not loud pops so much as light ticks. A couple of other moments of extremely faint crackle, but barely. Really it plays mostly just beautifully and breathtakingly. The cover has a seam split halfway across the top, and another 3/4 of the way across the bottom. The spine is fraying a little as well. And a little discoloration on the back. But the front image is still just beautiful and highly presentable. Not a perfect copy but a perfectly enjoyable one. Very rare in any condition.
