Description: This was a poster release to announce and advertise the release of Leon Russell and the Shelter People's new album in 1971: Leon Russell and the Shelter People. Leon was working with a lot of people at that time. Prior to this album, he had been playing piano with Joe Cocker and toured with the Mad Dogs and Englishmen tour. Several of his band members from this record (Carl Radle and Jim Gordon), went on to join Eric Clapton to become Dominos on the Derek and the Dominos Album and tour. This was a big record for Leon. This poster, 12 x 16.5 inches, was folded / creased to fit the size of the record, and will be mailed rolled in 21" heavy duty Kraft cardboard mailing tube to protect and prevent bending damage.
