Description: PLEASE READ: This Lego model came from my father in law’s estate. He was a prolific Lego collector and would build Legos and put them on shelves to where they eventually filled every room of his house. When he passed away he left the Legos to us and now we are trying to find good homes for all of them in his memory. We love Legos too but this is more than our house can handle. 1. If anything is known to be missing or damaged, we will note it. We inspect all sets against the photos in the instructions or online before taking it apart, as well as noting any issues while taking them apart. However, there is always the chance that a piece came off when he was building it, when we were moving it, or when we were breaking it down. 100% completion can’t be guaranteed, but missing pieces are likely to be small. 2. He was a smoker and some of these Legos were on display for many years. They have been airing out in our house since January 2022, which has helped take some of the edge off the smell, but some sets were very dusty depending on where in the house they were kept. I wipe them off somewhat, but you will want to clean them. I wish we could clean them but he had hundreds of sets, so believe me, it's a big enough job already! Luckily Legos do usually clean up pretty well. 3. All Legos will be partially broken down for easier shipment into freezer bags. Okay, so this one is a little confusing. Sometimes he had parts of Legos separated from each other. They were packed in total chaos and when we got home we had to do our best to sort it all out but it took two years! In this case at one point we found the trailer part, built as the b model, that I photographed, took apart, and marked as “trailer only” with a baggie that has extra parts leftover from the b model. You can see those photos here. But I also later found a bag that says “3245 missing the truck bed”. I can see the parts in there for the truck and it also had wheels and the battery box for the technics motor which was tested. I have a feeling I got confused and thought that this was two different sets numbered 3245 and 42043 so I took apart the truck part first and then didn’t join them at the time I found the trailer. I can’t find photos of the truck portion either, but since i didn’t note anything missing except the entire trailer, I would guess it’s probably pretty complete. Item 2406 Lot 0924
