Die-cut Atlantic cover looks good; light-scuffing, slight discoloration with darker discoloration spots, and some creases (front/back); front has some surface impressions. Inner-sleeve is original (generic white); one seam partially split. Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Little shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.) ABOUT THE RECORDGloria, by Laura Branigan, was released as the second single from her debut album Branigan. The song is an English version of the Italian hit Gloria, which made the Branigan a star. The song charted at No. 2 for three weeks. Gloria's total Hot 100 residency of 36 weeks established a new record for a single by a solo female act. Cash Box would rank the track as No. 1. Certified platinum for sales of two million in the US alone, Branigan's Gloria was also an international success, most notably in Australia where it held the No. 1 position for seven weeks. Gloria was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. The National Hockey League (NHL)'s St. Louis Blues began using Laura Branigan's Gloria as their unofficial victory song during the 2018–19 season, when they went on a franchise-record 11 game winning streak.
