Description: A very collectible set of 10 limited edition offset lithograph prints by the acclaimed American photographer LARRY CLARK. Created in 1992; published by Printed Matter (NYC) as part of a series based on the concept of a common "ex libris" book plate. Other participating artists included Francesco Clemente, Eric Fischl, Robert Gober, Jenny Holzer, Claes Oldenburg, Faith Ringgold, and Nancy Spero. The Larry Clark contribution utilized a series of 10 images taken from his seminal photobook entitled 1992. Printed by Derriere L'Etoile Studios (NYC) on sheets of archival coated paper. All prints are in mint condition and blank on the back as shown. Sheet size measures 5" x 3" (12.7 x 7.6cm); image measures 4.5" x 3" (11.4 x 7.6cm). The original edition size for the project was 100 signed and numbered boxes. Each box contains 250 bookplate prints (the LC version was 25 sets of 10 images). Of the 250 prints, a single example is signed and numbered in pencil by the artist. The signed and numbered print is not available. Buyer to receive as shown, one full set of 10 unsigned prints.
