Description: Impressive Vintage Chinese Blanc de Chine Guanyin Bodhisattva of Compassion on Lotus figurine. Very substantial piece measuring approximately 21 inches in height by approximately 9 in width by 9" in depth. It is quite heavy weighing nearly 14 lb. Most likely produced post 1950. There is a raised maker's mark on the back as shown in photos. Beautiful detail throughout and in considerably good condition considering all the fragile and intricate details. Of note there are two areas shown in the photos where there has been a small bit of damage. One is on her thumb and the fingernail of one of the middle fingers. There is also a small flea bite chip to the very top of the headpiece as noted in photos. Other than that it seems to be in very good condition.
