Description: This large Chinese famille verte vase was made in the late Qing period around 1900. Adorned with dragon handles that likely represent chilong, the vases design includes intricate scenes depicting figures from folklore and Daoist traditions. Among the motifs, youll find an elderly figure accompanied by a crane, another holding a scroll, one with a peach, and a fourth playing a flutelikely symbolising a gathering of immortals and sages. Measuring 38 cm in height and is in good condition, with some surface related wear only. The vase is bordered by a scrolling Ruyi motif around the lip, adding a refined touch that complements the elaborate decorations. This is a true statement piece of Chinese porcelain, unique and beautiful. We recommend viewing all the photos before buying.
