Description: Archimede Seguso Lamp Base A glass lamp base by Archimede Seguso Murano, dating from the 1950s with original fittings. Blown in a delicate shade of lime green glass and cased in opaque clear glass, with applied leaves and flowers in opaque clear glass. The stem is fluted, giving an elegant appearance. The metal fittings show some rubbing appropriate for the age. A stylish, and impressive lamp, wonderful when lit. It retains the original Seguso sticker. Note that the shade and light globe are for display only, they are not included. In excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or scratches. Size: about 37 cm high to the top of the metal, 45 cm to the top of the plastic fittings, base 17 cm diam, weight 2.3 Kg. Look in my store for more Murano items.
