The McIlhenny family, makers of another "Tabasco" brand sauce eventually responded to this challenge and in a several decades long feud won by receiving a Trademark for their "Tabasco" brand in 1906. Afterwards Trappey resorted to the less specific brand name of "Louisiana Hot Sauce" (Wikipedia). The token is made of aluminum and measures 35mm in diameter.
