Description: This is King's Quest III: To Heir is Human for Atari ST. It is complete in box: included are all three game disks, the dust cover, the instruction manual, the player reference card, and all original inserts. The dust cover has some noticeable damage on the front. The box and dust cover have some minor wear and staining, mostly around the edges. Everything inside the box looks to be in near perfect condition. The game is untested. King's Quest III is a huge step up from the previous King's Quest games in terms of scope and complexity, and was the most ambitious game by Sierra released up until that point. The game features a real-time clock that you must pay attention to at all times, or risk missing important events or being caught by the wizard Manannan, the game's antagonist. You also needed to input spells directly from the physical manual, which creates an immersive feeling, like you're imputing forgotten knowledge while also acting as a form of copy protection. It's also the first King's Quest game where you don't play as Graham, featuring a more involved plot about escaping from the clutches of your master. The game is a fair bit more difficult than previous games, but for the dedicated adventure game fan, it's an incredibly impressive title.
