The base and blade are riveted together with 2 pins producing a strong and invisible joint. All faces and edges are ground and lapped for straightness and parallelism. Manufactured to strict German DIN 875/1 standards and guaranteed square to within 14 microns or 0.0005 inches (that’s half a thousandth of an inch). Comes in a padded box.
