I bought two (2) of these here on eBay because it was the exact model I was looking for and the packaging looked to me like it reflected a recent manufacture. Well, the manufacture date was not visible on the packaging anywhere and after opening one it turned out they were manufactured in 1998. It is not recommended to install an alarm that old, so maybe a collector or hobbyist would have a use for it. It is sealed, unopened. -- (FYI, I also have the alarm I, carefully and neatly opened from the back to check the date, listed separately.)
