Description: The Kenya 200 Shillings Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Kenya in 2019. The blue banknote bears English and Kiswahili texts. Its obverse depicts the Kenyatta International Conference Center in Nairobi with a seated Kenyatta statue and the tower and amphitheater buildings. It also shows Mount Kenya and a rhinoceros. The reverse displays a woman with a child examined by a doctor with a stethoscope, a man teaching children to use laptop computers, and four competitive runners holding the Kenyan flag. The note contains a flying dove and bank monogram registration devices, a red-to-green rainbow windowed security thread with demetalized bird and CBK 200. It also shows a watermark that reveals a lion’s head, an electrotype CBK / 200, and Cornerstones. The note is 132 x 66 mm in size and is signed by Patrick Njoroge. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
