Our research shows that this leather bound, 100' foot tape measure from Keuffel & Esser is c1940s. The tape is marked "DIETZGEN IMPROVED METALLIC, MADE IN USA". Both sides of the round leather case is clearly marked "KEUFFEL & ESSER CO NEW YORK DARTMOUTH". The metal winder is stamped with a '100'. You will see on one side, the leather shows some cracking from age. However, the stitching holds strong and there is no leather missing.
