Its obverse side is vertically oriented and features snow leopards, the Kazakhstani emblem, the Kazakhstani flag, flying doves, and two monuments in Astana—the Independence Palace and the Kazak Eli Monument. Its reverse side is horizontally oriented and has an outline map of Kazakhstan that contains a field of flowers, the Zailijsky Alatau Ridge of the Tian Shan mountain range, the Independence Monument, the Kazakhstan Hotel, and a holographic stripe of apples, doves, and 5,000. Security features of the note include a solid security thread, a 6-mm windowed security thread, and a watermark of the mythical Samruk bird with an electrotype 5000. Its dimensions are 144 mm x 76 mm. The note is in uncirculated condition.
