Description: This is a fine watercolor painting by the American artist Joseph Whitla Stinson (1885-1954). Titled “Crawford River” (New Jersey), the image itself measures 7” x 10”; the frame is 9” x 12”. Signed and titled lower left, and dated 1921. On the back is an index card from a previous owner, providing us with some background information on the artist and the painting. Condition is very good. It is clean and crisp. There is a very slight vertical crease in the paper, running parallel to the right side, about a quarter of an inch from the edge. It is almost invisible when viewing the painting from a normal distance, but can be seen under strong light and close up. When viewing the photos, please ignore the reflections on the glass. Shipping to USA via USPS Priority Mail. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions that come to mind. Thanks for looking!
