Description: This is a vintage copy of Joe Palooka Comic, by Ham Fisher, Vol. 2 #5 from the Golden Age of comics - 1946. The comic features the beloved character Joe Palooka and is published by "Family Comics Inc." The is stamped, what looks like, the first of "Harvey Publications" on the cover. This comic is a great addition to any collection of classic comic books and memorabilia. It is ungraded and was printed in the United States. The comic looks to be a part of a new series where Joe is back home after W.W.II and involved in other stories.... Also it's the first appearance of "Boy Explorers". This is a rare find for any comic book enthusiast. I'm not a professional grader but here's what I see. Condition: Nice vivid colors, cover as well as inside. An "s" on the cover in pencil near the top. Looks to be a dealer mark...Does not take away from the condition. Comic is curled do to someone rolling it up. More noticeable on the outer right edge. And a curl along the bottom and very, very light corner crease. Decent spine, few light stress lines, couple of light thumb(?) creases. Some edge age/stains?? Nice tight staples. Tiny tear, top edge, near right corner. Back cover: lower outer corner crease, outer edge tanning or stain? Inside looks great.... lower outer corner bends. Don't see any tears, creases or marks.
