NOTE: this is *not* traditional, five decade rosary. This is a special devotion chaplet. The chaplet of St Michael has a series of 3 Hail Mary beads followed by Our Father bead. Chain mounted, faceted beads are fire polished to perfection with a nice sheen. This unique chaplet features double sided medal with St Michael on one side and Guardian Angel on the other. Also the centerpiece is double sided with Padre Pio on one side and Mary with Child on the other. The Chaplet of St. Michael the Archangel is a chaplet resulting from a private revelation by the Archangel Michael to the Portuguese Carmelite nun Antónia d'Astónaco. It was approved by Pope Pius IX in 1851 and was granted indulgences. Praying the chaplet is said to provide great benefits for those who pray it often, among which are the continuous assistance from Saint Michael the Archangel and the company of one angel of each of the nine celestial choirs when approaching Holy Communion.
