Description: Oregon Sunset has plum colored leaves in the Spring, they turn green in Summer. Then they turn rich orange-red in the Fall. It will get to be up to 7-8' tall and 4-5' wide. Like all Japanese Maples it prefers a moist and acidic soil and some light shade, especially in the afternoon in areas with hot Summers. Excels as a potted specimen. Hardy in Zones 5-8. These plants are in a 3 quart pot and are about 10-12" tall (see the first photo). They will be shipped bareroot with the roots wrapped and protected from drying out. We do recommend that you pot it up for a while before putting it into the ground. If you order multiple items you may be overcharged for shipping.
