This is the first mass market paperback edition, published by Avon, code T-302. 4-1/4" X 6-3/8", 126 pages. Iconic cover illustration, though it is not credited. This is not a library discard copy. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. binding is tight. There is a vertical crease mark on the spine, with a closed tear, - through the first 'r' of 'Subterraneans' - see photos. This crease continues for about 1/2" onto the front cover as well. Very minor dot of an edge wear mark on the bottom edge of the front cover - see photos.
