Description: U.S. Coast GuardLoran Station Iwo Jima, Japan (W1564) Loran Station Iwo Jima provided electronic navigation signals to ships operating in the western Pacific. It was turned over to the Japanese in 1994. This patch was in use circa 1988. It is a new, medium size 4" wide and 4" tall color patch. It is 60% computer embroidered on white cloth, with a dark blue merrowing, and a sealed back. This version has the narrow blue stripe leading the wide red stripe. This is incorrect - a common occurrence with Coast Guard patches. In 1990, the patch was corrected to show the wide red stripe leading. Patches are shipped using the default Economy Shipping option (no action required of the buyer) with stamps which does not provide a tracking number. If you want tracking, change the shipping method during check-out to the USPS Ground Advantage shipping option orUSPS Priority Mail shipping option (a little faster). These options cost more - for the tracking. I do not offer overnight or non-USPS shipping. Visit my eBay Store for many more Coast Guard patches!!
