This beautiful Japanese cast iron teapot includes a stainless steel strainer basket and a porcelain enamel lined interior. *Lined iron teapots are NOT water kettles~~ so not intended to heat water on your stove. Damage to lining may occur if used on stove top. A natural mineral layer will build over time and will further protect the interior of the teapot.
