Description: The Trail Guide to U.S. Geography is a great homeschooling program for teaching geography for multiple age levels (Grades 3-High School). The activities in this curriculum make learning about the United States fun and interesting. Students using this curriculum will create a State Notebook including mapping activities, drawings, state flags, state and regional reports and special projects. The guide also includes ideas for teaching geography using literature books as well as incorporating geography into U.S. History. This set includes everything needed with the exception of The Captain's Dog, My Journey with the Lewis and Clark Tribe by Roland Smith. I have, however, included 4 other recommended literature books that can easily be substituted using the same mapping ideas as those set up for The Captain's Dog. This set contains the following: 1. Students interested in art/drawing can even trace or draw the state outlines using The Big Book of America book (included).
