Description: This model is likely from the 1958 Run per the attached documentation from the Brown Book. Train stamped #40 and only rear drivers powered. This is one of the first brass big boys builtI do believe that the paint is original, not sure why tender is not lettered. The model Runs But needs a push to get going sometimes. Drivers and tender wheels show wear with not much playing on tender wheels . It has a headlight, it does not work. There are a few paint chips.It is missing a number board. Will include replacement boards but they are for Alco switchersThe builder plate is located in the cab stating Handmade and the Signature series plate is underneath the loco and tender Model #3 sold for $3800. There is no original box. The model comes in a new replacement box and foam from brasstrains.com.
