Description: OLD WESTERN AMERICAN VINTAGE LARGE & IMPRESSIVE 1985 BACA BROTHERS RODEO COMPANY BULL RIDING SERIES COWBOY TROPHY BELT BUCKLE— This belt buckle is from the Baca Brothers Rodeo Company, an historic American rodeo company that was from Grants, New Mexico. In 1986 they became the Casper Baca Rodeo Company. This buckle is from the last year that they were known by their original name. The condition is fully functional and true vintage……..it shows minor signs of use, as would be expected on a 35+ year old rodeo buckle. There is etching onto the buckle back that reads “Sower Saddle & Silver, Belen, NM, Carl Sowers”. We couldn’t find any information regarding such a company. There also is a personalized name “CHRIS CERVI MEHRING” customized on the lower front portion. The metal is nickel silver on the buckle back and we believe the front is sterling silver bonded (definitely NOT solid sterling silver). It has a great design with a big bull riding image, large lettering, and 2 rosettes…..the rosette to the left still has a Ruby red gem stone intact. The rosette to the right is missing the stone. The buckle measures 4 1/2” x 3 1/4”, fits belts up to 1 1/2” wide and weighs about 5-6 ounces. It will be shipped USPS first class package carefully wrapped and insured. 7031 We currently have MANY HUNDREDS of additional rare vintage AUTHENTIC old western American cowboy, rodeo, horse show, trophy & ranger style belt buckles listed for sale.
