This is a professionally modified lens. The lens aperture is almost square, reminiscent of the aperture of the legendary Soviet lens Zenitar ME1. The lens is fully serviced and tested, all the materials that we used during the modification are also original and produced in the former Soviet Union. This is an awesome option for your creative ideas. Helios 44-2 is an interesting lens with an amazing picture and fixed focal length 58mm. The focusing of the lens is smooth. The focus ring rotates 270 degrees. When focusing, the front and rear lenses do not rotate. The diaphragm has 8 blades. The iris control ring rotates smoothly, stopping at fixed values. HELIOS-44-2 2/58 has a ring presets aperture. With it, you can select one of the fixed values: F / 2, 2.8, 4, 5.6, 8, 11, 16. The lens has a very specific bokeh.
