Description: Hedge mustard (Sisymbrium officinale) is a type of wild mustard. It grows in dry ground and even cracks of sidewalks. It can grow to 2 feet and develops long stems that get yellow flowers. After the flowers fade it develops half to three quarter inch thin seed pods. Let the seed pods dry to get seeds to grind. The leaves and seeds have a peppery taste, and a hint like horseradish. The plant is used medicinally. 50 seeds per pkg.
