Description: Hawaiian Big Game Trolling Lures B52-7WK I lost a lot of good pictures but found some. This is on the B52-9S. I never enter Fishing Tournaments, I was out fishing on the same day it was held in Kaneohe. I went to a area I like to go and caught this Marlin and Tuna, they only hit the B52-9. It was a slow day fishing and I went to the Pier to weigh the fish just for fun. We would have placed had we entered. I have sent this B52-9 everywhere and hear awesome results from buyers. I have tons and tons of pictures of fish this lure caught, all buried. One story that comes to mind is off the Penguin Banks on the 40 fathom ledge. There was a pile of Porpoise just lingering and moving slowly along the ledge about 2 miles up the Honolulu side just below a ledge jutting out. People who fish there know this area. Rather than circle the pile, I went to the shallow 25 fathom then to the deep, I kept doing this. We caught a 150 pound Ahi, then a Ono, we just kept circling the pile. When we hit the south face of the banks, there is a crack in the ledge and we caught a 450 pound Marlin in that area and called it a day. Okay Okay. For you Locals who fish this area. People run the 40 fathom down and sometimes get hits but move on, not me. I run down the 40 on the Honolulu side then hit the corner and go back up doing this shallow to deep. From the ledge jutting out to the corner is a short run so I work my way down and do the same on the South face. Think about this, if the current is running from the North (Molokai side) it is pushing bait into the deep and you are making a straight line right across it. Imagine if you went up and down the bait coming off the ledge. Due to High Demand, the B52s were sold out first, then the heads I was going to use to replace them were requested by the stores. I could not retrieve any listings with pictures that are buried in a external memory among with too many pictures. This is the Undisputed Champion color combination on my Boat. Most of the B52s sold locally and there are many more believers everywhere. Anywhere there is squid in the waters, this lure will get hit. I got 3 B52-7S and 3 B52-9S on my boat, earlier in the year I run the7 inch because the fish is smaller and from May/June on, the 9 inch. I remember one trip when the Onos (Wahoos) tore up the 3 7 inch and we put a 9 inch on for the trip home and caught a Bonus Marlin, couple hundred pounder. Basic Trolling 101. Put all your lures on the table and split them, Blue/Greens on one side and Dark and Red/Pink etc etc on the other. You will see that both have taken hits. Run squid/shrimp colors on one side of the boat, I run them on Starboard. This is usually the darker colors and red, orange, white, pink. Run Blues and Greens on the other, I run it on my port side. The center is what ever is hitting. You talk to 10 fishermen and they will give you 10 different combinations that work. You catch fish with bait fish in the current line in one area then squid/shrimp from a up welling current from a ledge. You never know what the fish are eating from area to the next. Never run all one color or you will catch fish in one area then go the rest of the day blank. You run your lures like this, you Never have to wonder what to run ever again. The B529S is a Heavy Bullet weighing 9 ounces in the envelope. If you run it on the far rigger, you will probably not see it until the end of the day or taking it out a fish's mouth. I set lines so I can make a 90 degree turn. I make this port side turn at 8 knots and the lure (port rigger) sinks. The B527S and B527WK weigh 5 ounces. This White Knight Cut is Awesome (Angle/Weight). The same Cut is on the 7 and 9 inch lure. I had many pictures, I will take a look. I found only the one with Rob in Kailua-Kona but cannot find another one from Virgil also in Kailua Kona. One incident comes to mind, a buyer in Turks and Caicos got his reel spooled with this lure, the fish hit and there was no stopping it. 4/4/2022. Sorry. Postal Fees went up.
