Description: Estate Auction find. Up for sale is a Handmade Pottery Ceramic Cookie Jar – with a Peeping Cookie Troll. Bottom is stamped “HAMMOND 90”. Both the cookie jar and the lid are made with a textile looking finish. The artist molded a couple of wrinkles; one on the lid and another at the top of the jar with a “cookie troll” peeking out. The jar also has “HAVE A COOKIE!” on the front. Natural light brown / tan glaze. The pot stands about 9 ½” tall (to top of molded wrinkle on lid). Cookie jar is about 7 ½” in diameter (not perfectly round) x 7 ½” deep. Condition is Preowned / Used. The cookie jar is definitely handmade and thus has molded imperfections. However, I can detect no cracks or chips and would consider this piece to be in very good condition. Please examine photos and read entire listing for best indication of condition.
