Sir Henry Thomas, FBA (21 November 1878 – 21 July 1952) was an English bibliographer and Hispanic scholar. He was president of the Anglo-Spanish Society (1931 to 1947) and the Bibliographical Society (1936 to 1938), was elected a fellow of the British Academy in 1936, and knighted in 1946; he received DLitt degrees from the University of Birmingham and the University of London. Armando Cortesão 1891 – 1977) was a Portuguese agronomic engineer, colonial administrator, cartographer, and historian of Portuguese cartography. He also competed in the men's 400 metres and men's 800 metres at the 1912 Summer Olympics. 98 pages, linen with dust jacket. The dust jacket has small tears, otherwise in good condition. Very slight signs of wear on the cover; the corners are not bumped, the edges are not rubbed. Inside is fine, almost like new. Slightly stained with stitches on the title page, otherwise very nice, clean pages without a stamp, entry, underline, note or tear. Solid copy in very good condition.
