G. ritterianum is a small, usually unbranched, with flat to globose depressed stem, up to 4 inch in width, grey-green to light green, sometimes bronzed in full sun, spines 7-10, brown to gray, with dark tips, somewhat curved, short. flowers appearing near the apex, diameter and height up to 2 inch, from light pink to white. Originally from La Rioja, Argentina.Plant ships bare root. USA and her territories ONLY.
