The action is 3/32" or lower at the 12th fret, the electronics sound great, the bridge is adjustable in all directions, the fret ends are smooth and the truss rod works. The Surfliner’s sound is driven by the Guild Rocker Pickup Switching System, with master volume, tone control, and 3 rocker switches. The LB-1 Bridge pickup is a recreation of vintage Guild Humbuckers from the 60’s offering a range of tones well-suited for a variety of playing styles and genres. The middle and neck pickups are a matched set of De'Armond Aerosonic middle and neck single coil pickups. These pickups feature Alnico V magnets and a shielded nickel cover.
