Description: Up for bid is my 1986 Guild D-17s. These are great boxes and definitely built more for the working-man. Same specs as the D25 but with an arched, ply back and solid mahogany top - both of which lend durability and extra punch to the sound. Very similar to a D15 but with white binding. These don't pop up very often. This one has a couple of repairs that have been professionally done and it's solid as a rock. When I purchased this it arrived with a 12" split down the side. It was a clean break and a smooth repair, pretty hard to see even if you're looking for it. I just had a new saddle and nut installed, along with a L.R. Baggs Element VTC pickup (most of the photos were taken before the install). Also had a new strap button put in. There was an older one at some point but that had been removed and filled long ago. Also comes with the original hardshell case in good condition as well. It looks, plays and sounds great. It has it's share of dings from use over the years but nothing ugly or that detracts from playability. Please check the photos and ask any questions prior to bidding. Sold as is but I will stand behind my description. These old Guilds are built like a tank and a lot of fun to play and this one is no exception. Ground shipping to the lower 48 states only is a flat $75. Don't forget to check my feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks for looking.
