Description: Grateful Dead Live - EUROPE '72 - Stakladen, Aarhus University - Aarhus, Denmark 4/16/1972 3 CD Set - Excellent Used Condition Europe '72 concerts come in a too-tight cardboard slipcase. In and Out of the discs is tricky at best. ALL copies will show some light surface scuffing from contact with the cardboard. The cardboard slipcases also tear easily. With my personal copies, I remove the discs once and then store them in a jewel case. Please check the fotos. As you can see, cardboard slipcase is in pristine undamged condition. All 3 discs in excellent condition. Please examine all the fotos. They are of the actual item you will receive. The artwork for this show is entitled DANISH COMMUNION April 16, 1972...the 5th concert of the Dead's first European tour. At the tiny Stakladen on the campus of Aarhus University in Denmark, the Grateful Dead played a mighty fine, unheralded show. They say Denmark is the happiest country on Earth. The Dead did play 3 shows in the country in 1972. For unknown reasons, Donna was absent from this concert. I have been told be someone who was actually at this show that Donna was onstage but perhaps just played tamborine and did not sing. From start to finish, this show is first rate and wailing. I've been told that the band came back, long after midnight, with the tapes machines turned off, and played another fantastic set. That remains unconfirmed!
