Jacket shows some toning and a stain to rear panel with light chipping around edges and flaps. Small tear at base of spine. A very good example. Uncommon signed copy of this fourth and final novel from Grace Metalious (1924-1964) who quickly rose to fame after the publishing of her first book in 1956, Peyton Place. This copy was inscribed in September of 1963 just 5 months before Metalious would die of cirrhosis from years of alcoholism at the age of 39.
