Description: Fossil Angustidens (Megalodon ancestor) shark tooth. Recovered in South Carolina. Classic dagger shape. Significant root loss but remaining root is solid. Very shiny enamel. Great serrations with a few nicks. Good tip. Nice colors. Solid and heavy tooth. Measures approximately 2.24" L x 1.17" W. See photos for condition. Enamel appears to have been buffed as is commonly done. From a South Carolina estate collection. Would be a good tooth to wrap for a shark tooth necklace.
